ALL ABOUT: HONNÊTE ULTIMATE GLOW

Luminous glowing skin is important, not only for your appearance but for your overall skin health.
— Cosmetic Nurse Amina

Suitable for all skin types.

HONNÊTE Ultimate Glow is beyond just a chemical peel . . .

A chemical peel uses a combination of natural and synthetic ingredients to remove dull and damaged surface skin cells and clear congested pores to reveal smoother and brighter skin. There are many different types of chemical peels available which leverage different concentrations and combinations of ingredients such as alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), glycolic acid, lactic acid, and salicylic acid.

With the HONNÊTE Ultimate Glow, a deep rejuvenation treatment, it is layer upon layer of medical-grade key active ingredients. A mixture of powerful brightening and resurfacing solutions, that penetrate deep within the skin. Suitable for all skin types and concerns to reveal more radiant and luminous skin.

How does the procedure work?

Various acids and booster ingredients are applied to the skin in different dosages and for different amounts of time. There can also be different levels and layers applied based on your specific skin concern and skin type. It is not a one-size-fits-all; the procedure is customized to each individual’s skin condition. A consultation is required to devise a treatment plan that is right for your skin type and particular concerns. Although there may be a noticeable improvement after one treatment, depending on the target goals and specific skin issues, a minimum of 4 treatments are recommended spaced 2-4 weeks apart. Successful outcomes are based on the number of treatments and the use of home care products that work synergistically to improve the health and beauty of your skin.

Who is a good candidate? and what areas can be treated?

All skin types are good candidates including sensitive skin. Conditions that can be treated include but are not limited to acne, scars, laxity, dullness, wrinkles, and uneven skin pigmentation/photodamage/melasma.

Along with the face, the neck, décolleté, back, and dorsum of the hands can be treated.

When will I see the results? and when can I return to everyday activities?

Post-procedure, there are four phases that each patient experiences:

  1. I LOVE IT: immediately after the treatment, “OMG, my skin is glowing!”. Your skin will be smooth, dewy and radiant. AVOID makeup and washing your face for at least 24 hours following your treatment. Use ONLY the post-procedure skincare kit that is provided to you or as otherwise instructed.

  2. I HATE IT: by day three, this is your experience. Your skin may begin to purge/detox by breaking out (it is underlying toxins that are coming out to the surface), your skin will dry out, you will experience tightness, flaking, peeling, scaly skin, itchiness, some irritation, crusting, or skin redness. The most intense peeling will occur during the middle days of your recovery.

  3. I LIKE IT: you are beginning to notice the difference in how your skin looks and feels.

  4. I LOVE IT: that feeling immediately after the treatment RETURNS! The results are visible. It may take about 14 days for your skin to return to its “normal state”. Most patients will experience a recovery time period of five to seven days.

Normal activity such as returning to work can be resumed immediately. AVOID exercise or strenuous activities for the remainder of the treatment day; you may resume normal activities/routines the following day.
